Ford WHQ Grand Opening

Project Overview
In November, Civic supported Ford Motor Company in welcoming employees, families, and the Dearborn community to the official opening of the new Ford World Headquarters. The event featured behind-the-scenes tours of the new HQ, family-friendly games and experiences, food trucks, local music, and the surprise unveiling of the building’s new Blue Oval. Civic also built a unified, employee-first engagement program that carried momentum from the September announcement through the HQ opening. The team led program strategy, key messaging, creative direction, and production, shaping the narrative around Ford’s investment in its future.

Project Tasks
Led the project as an Art Director & Lead Designer, developing the visual system across the engagement program and opening-day experience. Created the event brand identity and established a consistent look and feel across digital communications, on-site signage, and environmental elements. Designed employee-focused moments and wayfinding that supported family-friendly activities, tours, and the Blue Oval unveiling. Partnered with strategy and production teams to align creative with key messaging and deliver a cohesive experience from the September announcement through the headquarters opening.
