Family Open House
Project Overview
For the third year in a row, Civic partnered with Ford Motor Company to deliver Family Open House, a fun-filled summer event series for employees and their families. The program spanned nine plants and featured games, great food, custom merch, and a mix of engaging activities that brought the Ford community together in celebration. Employees also guided loved ones through the plant, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the work they do every day. The series created a meaningful way to build pride, connection, and shared experience across teams and generations.
Project Tasks
Owned the creative direction as Art Director and Lead Designer, driving the visual identity and overall look and feel for the event series. Designed a brand-new logo inspired by the tailgating design brief, building a bold mark that set the tone for a fun, welcoming experience. Developed a flexible design system that scaled across nine plant locations while staying consistent across signage, wayfinding, merch, and on-site touchpoints. Designed family-friendly engagement moments that supported activities, plant tours, and community gathering spaces. Partnered with Civic production and Ford teams to ensure brand consistency, clear on-site execution, and a smooth experience for employees, families, and local plant communities.
